Branch Manager


 

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Assistant Branch in Charge of Wholesale and Retail Trading for Hardware and Building Materials. This role involves overseeing and managing the trading operations at our branch. We are looking for someone with industry knowledge, leadership skills, team management, and a drive for sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and guide the wholesale trading team, creating a positive work environment. Set goals and expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with company objectives. Identify market trends and competitors, and plan pricing and promotional activities.
  • Inventory Management and Procurement: Manage inventory levels and streamline procurement processes. Optimize inventory efficiency and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with wholesale customers, addressing their needs and complaints. Expand the customer base and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Development and Training: Recruit and train a skilled wholesale trading team. Provide regular training to improve product knowledge and customer service.
  • Implementing Strategies: Analysing current data and formulating and implementing strategies based on that data.
  • Customer Service Driven: Handling key customer’s account by giving 100% customer service and should be able to maintain accounts.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor sales metrics, prepare reports, and make recommendations. Forecast sales, analyze data, and manage budgets to achieve targets.
  • Sales Targets: Involved in Sales Target setting discussions with HOD, providing market inputs in the process, analysis and reviews on different parameters on regular basis with team and charting out plans in achieving the goals.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience in wholesale trading or sales management, with leadership experience.
  • Strong Negotiation, leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and tools.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional travel.
  • An independent, outgoing personality coupled with a keenness to learn.
  • Take initiative both as a team member and a leader
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Hindi.
  • Must be proficient in MS office, MS excel.

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Managerial: 4 years (Preferred)
